“New Twitter Research: Men Follow Men and Nobody Tweets”, a blog post at Harvard Business, has some results which are sweet vindication of my recent _Guardian_ Twitter column.

Take heed gentle tweeples (and Facebookers, and identi.ca’ers and what have you): Twitter is broadcast. If you want one-on-one, start an IM conversation.

And as I have often said before, it is all ephemeral. Fleeting. If you want something more permanent, start a blog.
