Bad “Attitude”?

“A bad attitude is like a flat tire; if you don’t change it you won’t go  anywhere.”

Define bad attitude. What is a bad attitude? Anti-conformity? Anti-authoritarianism? Cultural deviation? Non-mainstream-yness?

Yes in an organization effective cooperation requires the capacity to be able to predictably rely on your partners and their strength and weaknesses but don’t ever, ever become the square peg being forced into the square hole. Because the force will just simply destroy both the peg and the hole.

Adjustments are always necessary. But sometimes just sometimes if it’s not working then it’s not working.

Think about this before you begin labeling someone for being an unproductive member of society simple because she doesn’t “fit in”; simply because she has a “bad attitude”.

At the very least, try to let her get on her way. Try not to trip her up on her very own path.
